Reports Updated to Support Graduation 2018 Program

The following bulletin was released by the Ministry of Education on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.

To support the new “Graduation 2018” program and 10-12 curriculum, three reports in MyEducation BC will be updated to correctly calculate and report graduation progress and to include the new numeracy and literacy assessment requirements:

 Diploma Verification Report (DVR)—intended to assist school counsellors in advising students on their graduation progress
 School Transcript Report—an unofficial transcript schools may share with students, which mimics the style and content of the official Ministry of Education transcript
 Permanent Student Record (PSR)—a report of the student’s record of schooling from K-12

These changes are scheduled for implementation on May 27, 2018.

All three reports will continue to support existing graduation programs (e.g., adult graduation program, 2004 graduation program, etc.) in addition to the new “Graduation 2018” program.

For official transcripts and certificates, students should use the new StudentTranscripts service, which can be used to:

 View or order a secondary school transcript
 Send secondary school transcripts to post-secondary institutions
 Order a graduation certificate
 View scholarships
 View provincial exam or graduation assessment results
