With Release 5.8, a group of updates to MyEducation BC are also scheduled which include enhancements to the Student Services module, as well as changes to the scheduling workspace to support school districts in meeting class size and composition requirements:

Simplified IEP Data Entry – Working in consultation with school districts and the Ministry’s Inclusive Education branch, updates to MyEducation BC’s Student Services module will make it easier to create and manage individualized Education Plans (IEP) and Student Support Plans (SSP).

The scheduling workspace will:

  • automatically update and maintain the accuracy of designation and ELL enrolment counts displayed each time there is a scheduling action
  • automatically, or by means of a user controlled trigger, update and maintain the accuracy of designation and ELL enrolment counts displayed each time a student designation or ELL enrolment is created, updated, or deleted.
