A performance issue has been identified with very large course sections containing 100 – 300+ students. These very large course sections experience slow loading Grade Input screens: School view > Grades > Grade Input or Staff view > Gradebook > Scores
The slow loading screen can create slow grade posting when the posting is done from within the Grade Input or Scores screen. Posting from School view > Grades > Grade Input with the large section displayed will post at an expected speed for the number of students in the course. The workarounds provided include creating multiple course sections with fewer than 50 students or posting from School view > Grades > Grade Input.
