We have received reports of difficulties with emailing from MyEducation BC. The service provider has responded with some information:
- Sending Mass Emails
Mass emails sent from MyEd can be rejected by the spam filtering on the recipient’s email account.
Recipients can bypass a spam filter rejecting an email by adding the MyEducation BC system email address as a trusted contact.
MyEducation BC email address is: sysadmin@myeducation.gov.bc.ca - Attachments to Emails
The email attachment size limit is 7.1MB (total for all attachments). If the total size of the attachments is larger than 7.1MB, the emails will not send successfully. If there are many attachments, they may need to be sent in separate emails to meet the attachment size limit.
